Stowaway Snakes

Amongst the reports we get of stowaways there are occasionally reports of snakes, from a variety of countries. These snakes have usually crept inside a box, package or item being delivered to the UK. They come from a variety of countries but we have listed a few common stowaways below

Egg Sacs On Bananas

Vary occasionally things are found attached to bananas (see examples).  It is important to be clear these ARE NOT eggs sacs of Brazilian wandering spiders, Phoneutria spp. which carry their egg sac sacs with them and do not deposit them on bananas.
